Your dealership's acquisition agent,
running 24/7

01
Scout every platform
Auto Hunter scans Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, AutoTrader, and Cars.com every 30 minutes — finding private party listings that match your exact criteria before your competition sees them.
02
Market-comps deal scoring
Every listing is automatically scored against live market comparables — real asking prices from your region, adjusted for mileage. Deals are ranked as Great, Good, Fair, High, or Over Market — giving your team an immediate, data-driven reference for outreach decisions.
Auto Hunter uses your own scraped market data as the primary valuation source — no external API required. When fewer than 5 comparable listings exist, it falls back to reference estimates (Edmunds TMV). Dealerships can also connect a licensed data subscription (KBB Official, vAuto, Carbly, Laser Appraiser, Black Book) for formal valuations. All final acquisition offers should be completed through your dealership's designated appraisal system.
03
Message sellers automatically
The AI agent sends personalized messages to sellers of great and good deals — using their name, referencing their specific vehicle, crafted to feel personal and authentic. Every message is uniquely composed — never templated, never generic.
04
You close the deal
When a seller responds and agrees to bring their vehicle in, Auto Hunter books the inspection appointment. You get a notification and your team arrives prepared to make a competitive offer.

Every listing gets a market score

Deals are ranked by comparing your true acquisition cost against real asking prices for comparable vehicles in your region — not third-party book values.

1
Collect market comparables
Auto Hunter continuously scans listings for the same year, make, and model within your radius — building a real-time market average from actual asking prices, adjusted for mileage.
2
Calculate your true acquisition cost
The asking price plus your configured estimates for recon, transport, and fees — giving you the real all-in cost before you make any offer.
3
Score the deal
True cost ÷ market average × 100 = your deal score %. Configured thresholds determine which tier a listing falls into and whether the agent sends outreach.

Common questions

How does Auto Hunter find listings? +
Auto Hunter uses browser automation to search Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, AutoTrader, and Cars.com every 30 minutes based on your configured criteria — makes, models, price range, mileage, and location radius. Only private party listings are included, never dealer inventory.
How does the automated outreach work? +
Yes. When a listing scores as a great or good deal based on market comparables, the AI agent sends a personalized opening message to the seller. The message uses their name, references specific details from their listing, and is written to sound like a real person — not a template. You can review and customize the messaging tone in your settings.
How accurate is the market scoring? +
Auto Hunter scores each listing against real asking prices for comparable vehicles in your region — same year, make, model, adjusted for mileage. You set the scoring thresholds as a percentage of market average (e.g. contact listings with acquisition cost ≤ 85% of market). The more listings Auto Hunter collects, the more accurate the comparables become.
What happens when a seller replies? +
The AI agent reads the seller's reply and generates a contextually appropriate response — confirming availability, asking about title status, requesting the VIN, and ultimately proposing an inspection appointment at your dealership. You can take over any conversation at any time with the manual message override.
Does it work with Facebook Marketplace? +
Yes. You connect your dealership's Facebook account through a secure encrypted connection. Auto Hunter uses that account to search Marketplace and send messages through Facebook Messenger on your behalf.
How many team members can use it? +
Each subscription includes up to 5 team members. You can invite your acquisition manager, BDC staff, and accounting team with role-based access — each person sees only what they need.
What are the subscription terms? +
No contracts. Auto Hunter is month-to-month at $1,000 per month per dealership. Cancel any time from your billing settings. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.
What markets does it work in? +
Auto Hunter works in any US market with active Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist listings. You set your own search radius — from 5 miles for dense urban markets up to 3,000 miles for specialized vehicle sourcing.
